Student Resources
A wide variety of University offices provide effective and efficient services for the SFS-Qatar community. This includes information about on campus housing, financial services, technology, student organizations and activities, health, and careers.
Qatar Foundation Housing provides students with the opportunity to live on campus. SFS-Qatar students, as well as students from the branch campuses are all able to live in these apartments. Students are housed in two apartment buildings one for males and one for females with 24 hour security.
Office of Finance provides counseling services to prospective and current students and their families about the options available for financing higher education costs, eligibility for Qatar Foundation loans or other financial assistance. Information about School of Foreign Service in Qatar scholarships can be accessed through the Office of Admissions.
Office of Information Technology is responsible for the daily technical operations, including the development and support of information technology infrastructure, and assistance and support for the user community of faculty, staff, and students at the SFS-Qatar campus.

- SFS-Qatar Students Receive UREP Grants
Three students from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar were awarded research grants in the latest round of funding from the Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP). (June 29, 2009) - SFS-Qatar Sets the Stage for Summer with Planet Georgetown Program
Later this month, Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar (SFS-Qatar) will host its second annual Planet Georgetown summer enrichment series for youth from local independent schools throughout Qatar. (June 19, 2009) - Mehran Kamrava Appointed Interim Dean at SFS-Qatar
Georgetown has named Mehran Kamrava as interim dean at SFS-Qatar. Starting August 1, Kamrava will succeed the current SFS-Qatar Dean James Reardon-Anderson, who will return to Main Campus in Washington, DC. (June 16, 2009)
