Students with Special Needs

Georgetown University, School of Foreign Services in Qatar is committed to providing academic support for all students and to integrating students with special needs/disabilities as fully as possible into all aspects of University life. Student Wellness Counseling in Student Affairs fulfills this mission by providing:

  • Facilities and support services to help ensure equal opportunity for students with special needs and disabilities;
  • Accommodations to students with special needs and disabilities under the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and Section 504;
  • Assistance in skills areas necessary for academic achievement through individual consultations.

  • Student Gets Education at International Finance Conference
    This October, Georgetown student Miodrag Stamboldziev (SFS ’11) was able to put his international relations education to use while attending the Annual Meeting of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund in Istanbul, Turkey. (November 08, 2009)
