    On November 1, 2009, the African Society student organization, in conjunction with Culture and Politics Faculty, headed by Rogaia Abusharaf, and the Doha-based Arab Democracy Foundation, hosted Columbia University Professor Mahmood Mamdani for a talk which focused on conflict and reconciliation in Rwanda, South Africa, and Darfur.

What are our graduates doing now?
  • 57% of the graduates of the class of 2009 have found full-time employment in fields that range from communications and publishing to business and law, while another 14% have pursued graduate internship programs for local businesses, embassies and think tanks.

With an overwhelming amount of interest and enthusiasm, Georgetown recruited two teams to compete for glory. 17 Hoyas bonded together as a prequel to the start Education City's regular season and experienced both glory and roadblocks on their path towards improvement.

Student Organizations Attract New Members at SAC Fair
Students visited the booths of student clubs, Education City institutions and even outside organizations such as Doha Tribeca Film Festival during the fifth annual SAC Fair on September 1st.
