Positions will be available in the Fall semester.On Campus Employment Information
The following forms need to be completed in order to work on campus at SFS-Qatar:
If the student is an SFS-Qatar student or a non-SFS-Qatar student, but a U.S. citizen, who is funded by an individual department follow these steps:
- Fill out the Department Funded Work Study Application
- If you have already inquired about a specific position indicate this on the application when it is turned into the Student Affairs Officer
- If you are applying for any position at SFS-Qatar, turn the application in without indicating a choice
- After the student has been hired an SFS-Qatar On Campus Employment Transaction Form needs to be filled out
- Fill out the form completely, being sure to get all required signatures and cost center information
- Turn this form into the Student Affairs Officer
- If the student is a U.S. citizen a copy of the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form must be filled out as well as applicable state tax forms
- If the student is under 18 years old, they must have their parents sign the Parental Consent Form
- While the student is employed, they need to keep track of the hours worked for accurate and speedy payment on the SFS-Qatar time sheets
- The work week for time sheets runs from Wednesday to the next Tuesday; time sheets need to be filled out accordingly
- All time sheets should be filled out with the proper dates and hours and turned in to the Student Affairs Officer, no later than 11am on Wednesday. If time sheets are late, students will not be paid until the following two week pay period.
- Students are not to turn in timesheets themselves. Supervisors must turn in timesheets.
If students want to apply to work through Qatar Foundation, the Qatar Foundation Work Study Application should be filled out and turned into the QF Student Employment office.
If the student is a non-SFS-Qatar student and a non-U.S. citizen the following forms need to be turned in before the student begins working:

Student Time Sheets
Once you have been hired, you must turn in a time sheet every Wednesday by 12pm. The time sheet must be signed by the student as well as their supervisor. Time sheets should be completed via computer and printed out. Students are not to turn in timesheets themselves. Supervisors must turn in timesheets.
