Slush Fund: Hosting an Event that is not Club-Sponsored
Many successful student-organized events are a result of independent student innovation and initiative. The Office of Student Affairs encourages students to be involved in the University community and thus has an established mechanism for students to plan events and programs in conjunction with Student Affairs staff.
Students wishing to organize an event that is not affiliated with a club must fill out the Slush Fund: Student Event Request and work with a Student Affairs Officer to plan the event. The signatures of both the Logistics Manager and the Associate Director of Student Affairs are needed before any University funding or resources can be allocated to the event.
If you have questions, please contact a Student Affairs Officer or Associate Director of Student Affairs Kathryn King.
