Student Organizations

Georgetown is committed to the tradition of cura personalis -- care of the whole person; educating and enriching the body, mind and spirit. Our student organizations reflect and embrace this goal, encouraging a vibrant, diverse and creative campus community.

Georgetown University Student Government Association in Qatar

The Georgetown University Student Government Association of Qatar (GUSA-Q) is a democratic government that provides students with a forum to voice their opinions to the administration and their peers. The Student Government is comprised of an Assembly, with members chosen from each class, and several officers. The student body as a whole elects a President, Vice President, and Public Relations Officer; the Student Government in turn appoints a Secretary and a Treasurer.
