At Georgetown, we take your privacy seriously.  The following statement describes how how we collect and use information on Georgetown's Qatar campus website.

 

Information Gathering

We may use your IP address to administer our site by identifying (1) which parts of our site are most heavily used, and (2) which portion of our audience comes from within the Georgetown network. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable.

Aditionally, we use Google Analytics to conduct anonymous web traffic analysis on our web site. Google Analytics may store data (called a cookie) in your web browser. However, no personally identifiable information is ever stored or analyzed. For more information, see Google's privacy policy.

Information Usage

The Office of Communications uses the information gathered through Google Analytics to tailor site content to user needs, and to generate aggregate statistical reports.
