Service Learning
We view our students as citizens in a diverse community and work to educate them about making responsible choices. We encourage them to explore the values, beliefs, and commitments that guide their actions. Our work with students builds on the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis – care of the whole person.
SFS-Qatar students are encouraged to take part in Service Learning Programs to put classroom learning into practical experience. In this program, students take field trips to different parts of the world to help communities in need, and give a real-world relevance to their course material. Students at Georgetown University in Qatar learn as they give back to the community.
Campus Living
Campus living is an integral part of student life. SFS-Qatar students take advantage of various services; such as Health and Wellness and Career Development. They also enjoy participating in student-run clubs and engage in athletics.
Student Clubs
Our students take part in various student organizations, such as Brainfood, Campus Activities Council and International Relations Club, which takes part in Model United Nations. These student clubs create a vibrant, diverse and creative campus community.
Career Development and Health and Wellness Offices
Career Development Office prepares SFS-Qatar students to the professional world through trainings, career couching and providing various resources. The Office also helps the students to secure internships, on-campus employment and also graduate employment opportunities.
SFS-Qatar puts every effort to create and maintain a healthy and caring community. Health and Wellness Office provides services to SFS-Qatar to promote their quality of life and well being through culturally and contextually appropriate measures.
