Office of Communications
The Office of Communications serves Georogetown's dynamic educational, intellectual and service missions by providing honest, timely and useful information to all internal and external audiences, while helping the university to advance its mission in the countries of the Middle East, North Africa and Asia.
The communications team provides a bridge between the faculty, staff and students at the Qatar campus and external parties. In addition, we coordinate activities to promote the University, its programs and expertise to internal and external audiences.

The trials and tribulations of an often overlooked victim of conflict, libraries, were the focus of a public lecture presented by Dr. Sem Sutter, titled "Habent sua fata libelli: The Fate of Libraries in Wartime" at the GU-Q library on Thursday, November 14th, 2013.
