On 25 June, the Alumni Club of the GCC ended its alumni programming for the summer with its annual Alumni Suhoor.  Held in the beautifully decorated St. Regis Ballroom, the event brought together 85 alumni from all of Georgetown’s campuses currently living in the GCC.

For many alumni, the event is always one of the highlights of the year.  “I had been looking forward to the Alumni Suhoor since Ramadan started. It’s a great chance to catch up with old friends while meeting the most recent alumni,” Nadim Rifai (SFS ’11) said.

“This is certainly the largest suhoor that we have ever had,” said Charles Nailen (SFS ’04, MBA ’13) one of the event’s organizers.  “Having alumni join us from Dubai and other cities to celebrate this special month is a sign of the strength of the Georgetown community.”
