Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar (SFS-Q) Human Resources Department recently organized a training course offered to all SFS-Q staff interested in improving their project management skills. The Learning and Development Program at SFS-Q periodically offers training courses to all staff through a series of planned learning experiences for individuals to improve and build their technical skills and business competencies. These short trainings are primarily aimed at helping employees meet their individual developmental needs and improve efficiency.

The recently offered training course entitled Fundamentals of Project Management was conducted by Human Network International (HNI), one of the leading training and coaching companies in human capital development which provides world-class experiential corporate training solutions and services in English and Arabic. Paul Campbell, Senior Trainer at HNI, who conducted the training said that the 3-day course provided the SFS-Q staff participants with knowledge of how to successfully define, plan, and deliver projects on time, to quality standards, and on budget.

At the closing stage of the training on day 3, Diana El Bizri, SFS-Q Web Content Manager, was presented with an “Oscar” by Campbell for her high level of contributions and participation throughout the duration of the course and for gaining the highest score in the Definition and Planning Quiz.
