Students with Special Needs

Georgetown University, SFSQ is committed to providing academic support for all students and to integrating students with special needs/disabilities as fully as possible into all aspects of University life. Student Wellness & Counseling Center (SWCC) in Student Affairs fulfills this mission by providing:

  • Facilities and support services to help ensure equal opportunity for students with special needs and disabilities;
  • Accommodations to students with special needs and disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADAAA) of 2008 and Section 504;
  • Assistance in skills areas necessary for academic achievement through individual consultations.
