Find Your Flow

“Flow” is a mental state when you are fully-engaged in an activity, losing track of time, and doing a task for its own sake. You may have felt flow before doing something you really enjoy: painting, singing, or playing football. For the optimal academic experience, try to achieve flow in your studies as well:

  1. Be involved in your studies and have clear sets of goals.
  2. Have a good balance between the perceived challenges of your school work, and the perceived skills you have to take it on. You must have confidence in your abilities.
  3. Find ways of receiving clear and immediate feedback. Consult with your professors and study with other students when you can.
