Committees 2008
In January 2008, student delegates were not required to submit position papers for the conference ahead of time. However, delegates were encouraged to arrive at the conference with a one page (single spaced) position paper on EACH topic that would be covered in the committee. For tips on writing position papers, please see below.
Typically each MUN committee discusses two to three topics in an order determined during the committee's first meeting. All delegates are expected to be thoroughly familiar with each topic and use these background guides as a starting point in their research.
