Model United Nations Conference 2007
The second annual MUN conference took place from January 10th to 13th, 2007 in Doha, Qatar at the InterContinental Hotel.
The Opening Ceremonies featured a welcome from SFS-Qatar Dean James Reardon-Anderson, introductory remarks by H.E. Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Saud Al-Thani and a keynote address by Tim Sebastian, chair of the Doha Debates program on BBC World. Also speaking were SFSQ students Assma Al Adawi, Mashail Al Naimi, Katrina Quirolgico and Ahmed Helal.

- SFS-Qatar Students Receive UREP Grants

Georgetown has named Mehran Kamrava as interim dean at SFS-Qatar. Starting August 1, Kamrava will succeed the current SFS-Qatar Dean James Reardon-Anderson, who will return to Main Campus in Washington, DC. (June 16, 2009)
