International Days
SFS-Qatar hosts monthly International Days that focus on a specific country. The day-long events, under the Planet Georgetown program, seek to instill a sense of excitement and interest in geography, writing, and international relations. The students are encouraged to learn creatively through simulations, games, art projects, creative writing, and recreation time.
For descriptions and pictures of the Interational Days on China, India, Russia, Mexico, and Nigeria that took place during the 2008/2009 academic year, please visit the Planet Georgetown blog.
