Uday Rosario
Service Learning Coordinator
Uday Rosario is the Service Learning Coordinator and works under the Academic and Student Affairs Department in Georgetown University in Qatar. He has been involved with the GU Qatar team since August 2007. However, as an external consultant since 2005, he has coordinated three service projects to India and Jordan, in addition to two local service projects in Qatar. His key responsibilities include the ideation, planning, execution and evaluation of international and local service projects for the students, which aim to bridge the academic pursuits of students with social justice initiatives.
Uday has an undergraduate degree in Commerce from Christ College, Bangalore and a post-graduate degree in International Law and International Relations from the University of Kent in Canterbury. He is an international youth activist who has worked with Peacechild International and Oxfam-Australia, including representations at the United Nations World Summit on Sustainable Development, through his membership with the United Nations Youth Caucus. In addition, he is the Vice President and Co-founder of IndiaFirst, an NGO based in Bangalore working for youth inclusion in the social and political spheres.
