A wide variety of University offices provide effective and efficient services for SFS-Qatar students.
Qatar Foundation Housing provides students with the opportunity to live on campus. SFS-Qatar students, as well as students from the branch campuses are all able to live in these apartments. Students are housed in two apartment buildings - one for males and one for females - with 24 hour security.
The Office of Finance provides counseling services to prospective and current students and their families about the options available for financing higher education costs, eligibility for Qatar Foundation loans or other financial assistance. Information about School of Foreign Service in Qatar scholarships can be accessed through the Office of Admissions.
The Office of Information Technology is responsible for the daily technical operations, including the development and support of information technology infrastructure, and assistance and support for the user community of faculty, staff, and students at the SFS-Qatar campus.

- Georgetown University in Qatar Offers Pre-College Series to Hoya Hopefuls
Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar just concluded the Georgetown Pre-College Series (GPS) which gave prospective undergraduates a taste of college life and a unique opportunity to gain valuable information on the admissions process. On November 13 and 14, Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Qatar (SFS-Qatar) and Institute for the Study of Diplomacy (ISD) hosted a crisis simulation exercise for students at Education City. (November 22, 2009) - Student Gets Education at International Finance Conference
This October, Georgetown student Miodrag Stamboldziev (SFS ’11) was able to put his international relations education to use while attending the Annual Meeting of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund in Istanbul, Turkey. (November 08, 2009)
